Problem

When trying to open help files / guides in payroll user gets the following error:

Your Default web browser could not be detected. try opening your web browser and nivigate to

Resolution

This Windows setting needs to be refreshed.

Go to “Control Panel” > “Default Programs

From the options click on “Set program access and computer defaults

browsererr2 | Your default web browser could not be detected

Click on the arrows next to “Custom

browsererr3 | Your default web browser could not be detected

From the options click to put the dot next to one of the named entries ie. don’t use the option “Use my current web browser”

browsererr4 | Your default web browser could not be detected

Click “OK

Restart the PC and you will be able to access the guides from the menu options.
