Problem
When you first try and print the Company totals and/or Dept Totals report you get the error:
"Operator is not valid for type "Decimal" and type "DBNull"
Resolution
To resolve the problem make sure a payroll calculation has been performed on every frequency used on your payroll. Once completed the reports will print correctly.
If this doesn’t resolve the issue:
Check in “Company Details” > “Additions / Deduction“.
Check for any pay code without a pay description.
Every line will need some text in the pay description field, if these are no longer used enter the description as ‘Unused‘.
