- When printing the clients Electronic Tax Return the following validation error is generated: "The element 'BankAccountDetails' in namespace 'https://www.govtalk.gov.uk/taxation/SA/SA100/07-08/1' has invalid child element 'AccountNumber' in namespace 'https://www.govtalk.gov.uk/taxation/SA/SA100/07-08/1'. List of possible elements expected: 'BranchSortCode' in namespace 'https://www.govtalk.gov.uk/taxation/SA/SA100/07-08/1'"
- Resolution
- This message indicates that a repayment is being sent to the client’s bank account but no sort code has been entered onto page TR5. The account number can be entered as follows: 1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select the client. 2. Click on the Relief’s tab, select Miscellaneous. 3. Click on Repayment claim. 4. Click the Select Bank Account button then select the account type. 5. Click on the account then click change, enter the sort code below the address, click OK then click Select.
