Problem
How are Alternative Accountants set up within Personal Tax?
Resolution
Users are required to:
1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax as a MASTER user.
2. From the Client menu, select View.
3. Click the Accountant button, select Alternative accountant.
4. Click the magnifying glass to the right of Alternative accountant option.
5. Click New, fill in the agents name and address.
6. Enable Can act as agent, click Tax Options.
7. Enter the user ID and password for this alternative accountant.
Note: Iit will be necessary in the first instance to view all existing alternative accountants and perform steps 5 and 6 listed above.
