Problem
When transitioning from UK GAAP to FRS, the previous year is restated, but the restatement file does not contain any figures/postings
Resolution
Go to: 1. Posting 2. Select 3. select the empty restatement file and press OK 4. Continue on the message that the accounts have been finalised 5. Click Yes when asked to import the postings
Occasionally no message will appear and then there is secondary process.
In the top of your posting screen go to Advanced / Import From Posting Entry and press OK on next box that populates. You then select the original UK GAAP file from the list of posting entries, and select no map . You can choose which posting range ( from and to ) to import, leaving this blank will import them all..
