How to send E-Mails from Automail/Practice management in bulk (Also works for Openspace)

Problem

When generating an Automail, some clients want correspondence to be E-mailed. How can this be done?

Resolution

It is recommended to have two different templates if you have clients that want by post or by E-mail. That way you can generate for post to print on to headed paper, or already have the header on the template for e-mail.

Generate the E-mail for template and choose to print later – These will then log in to the communications tab in Practice management.
Go in to the communication tab in practice management, and left click the first document. Then hold ‘Shift’ and left click on the last (This will highlight all the documents). You can also choose specific documents by holding ‘Ctrl’ instead and clicking each one you need.
Then right click anywhere on the highlighted area and left click ‘Action E-mail’ (Upload to Openspace). If the E-mail addresses are entered in to IRIS, it will populate a screen to enter the subject and then the body of text. Be aware that this will need to be generic as all clients will receive the same e-mail. They will NOT see other clients e-mails addresses or documents.
For Openspace, if there is not an account linked, it will ask you to create a new one
