Problem
The Directors Report is not showing Change of Company Name disclosure.
Resolution
If a ‘Change of Company Name’ has occured in the first year of incorporation the disclosure will be included on the Directors Report under the heading ‘Incorporation’.
If however the data screen ‘Report of the Directors | Commencement of Trading’ has been used in the first year of incorporation this overwrites the ‘Incorporation’ section completely and as a result would not show the ‘Change of Company Name’ disclosure.
If the Commencement of Trading data screen is to be used then the Change of Company Name disclosure will need to be entered manually in the same screen.
