Why must an Activity be selected when posting to some accounts?
Resolution
Within the Charity Chart of Accounts specified groups (groups 26 and 101) must have an ‘Activity’ selected when posting.
These accounts are allocated for Charitable Activities and will appear separately on the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA).
For posting to group 181 (Support costs) either an Activity will need to be selected or a basis of (automatic) allocation will need to be set up via Edit | Support costs.
To setup an Activity, please select Edit | Activities | New
