Problem
There has been a SIC code change which needs to be reported to Companies House in the CS01 but Part 1 is not being generated.
Resolution
– Highlight the company and click on the ‘Open’ button (at the bottom of the screen)
– Go into ‘Company’ tab
– Click on the ‘Last CS/AR Info’ button (on the right hand side of the screen, below the heading ‘Confirmation Statement / Annual Return’)
– This information is used for comparison purposes when deciding which sections of the CS01 to populate.
– If the information in this screen is different to the current SIC code(s) Part 1 will be generated, if it is the same Part 1 will be excluded.
– If it is the same then you can manually edit the SIC code(s) by clicking the Edit button to amend them to be the previous SIC codesWe are sorry you did not find this KB article helpful. Please use the box below to let us know how we can improve it.
