This message usually appears if there was some kind of system outage or glitch when collecting responses or, if it happens continually, could be linked to the anti virus or firewall on the PC. The HMRC confirmation email may be received even though it shows as rejected in the software. Please do the following:
1. Contact HMRC to confirm the return has been accepted
2. Once HMRC have confirmed receipt, go to the View Tax Return Events button on the Client Tax Returns tab, remove FBI status and manually enter a date of filing in box 20
3. Alternatively the return may be resubmitted as an amended return by removing FBI status and resubmitting ensuring the Amended Return box is ticked in the FBI Attachments screenNOTE: As of 26th October 2020 we are investigating the cause of a recent spate of these errors. This is currently with the Development team.
