Inaugural ISBL Conference Just One Week Away

The first ever national Institute of School Business Leadership (ISBL) conference is just around the corner. Kicking off on Thursday 15 November, the two-day event is the only national conference dedicated to the school business leadership and management profession.

What’s to see at ISBL?

Those in the leadership and management profession will not want to miss ISBL 2018. The inaugural event takes place at the NEC in Birmingham, and will have a host of workshops, keynote speeches and events designed to help professionals learn, network and improve their work.

It’s the only education event aimed at this profession in the education sector, and as such, it’s the only event with its content aimed specifically at this audience. The theme of the event will be ‘projecting Professionalism.’ It aims to help those in the profession better illustrate and demonstrate the difference their key work in schools can make. Something that sometimes gets easily lost. ISBL says:

“As school business professionals, it can feel as though there is far less tangible evidence of the impact that you have on the overall school achievements. However, this is far from the case and the conference aims to show practitioners how they can demonstrate and project the impact that they have as a professional.”

Covering this overall topic, there will be keynote speeches from Lord Agnew, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the School System and Paul Whiteman, General Secretary of the NAHT amongst others. There will also be 20 workshops over the two-day event covering a range of topics. Head here to find out more.

BioStore at ISBL

BioStore is looking forward to attending ISBL 2018. BioStore will be demonstrating its solutions for the education market including our FasTrak Cashless Catering and Attendance Solution.

You will find BioStore on Stand 85 over the two-days. We look forward to seeing some old faces and new ones at what is hopefully the first of many successful ISBL national conferences.
