Chemtura – a bite-size case study

Sometimes the best kind of information is small, easy to digest chunks that make things that little bit easier to understand!

At IRIS we have taken this into account and come up with some bite-sized case studies for you to really get your teeth into with the overload of information!

The first in the series of bite-size case studies is from a company called Chemtura.

Chemtura Manufacturing is based in Manchester and is part of Chemtura Corporation which is a global specialty chemical company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Chemtura Manufacturing have around 500 monthly employees over 4 different companies. They have used EARNIE for more than 10 years and haven’t considered moving to another system as EARNIE meets all their payroll requirements.

EARNIE is very flexible and can handle whatever pay rates and bonuses are required – we need to use a multitude of different calculations and EARNIE handles them all” states Louise Strange, Payroll Manager at Chemtura.

Chemtura pay employees by BACS and EARNIE produces an export file to link to the BACS system to make this process as easy as possible.
