Preston Park Surgery

Preston Park Surgery is a thriving, forward-thinking surgery located in Brighton.
The large practice has around 11,000 patients on its books and provides a comprehensive service to each of them.

The practice prides itself on being one of the best in the Brighton area and with seven full or part time partners and around twenty other staff, it works hard to maintain a high level of service.

Preston Park Surgery is also a training practice and helps those doctors, who wish to work in general practice, to complete their 12 month training period.

It is vital for a large and busy practice like Preston Park to run as smoothly as possible.
Practice Administrator Stella Benson uses IRIS GP Accounts and IRIS GP Payroll and she says both are great for a practice the size of Preston Park Surgery.

She explained: “We first used IRIS because it was recommended to us by our accountant. I like it because it is very simple and basic and designed so that anyone can use it. Both the IRIS GP Accounts and the IRIS GP Payroll do not overcomplicate anything. It is just understandable logic.

“I can work out what I need to do very simply and then get on and do it. The two packages are not trying to be something they are not. They understand the needs of a busy practice and help make life easier.

“I like the reports in particular on IRIS GP Accounts. And what I like about IRIS GP Payroll is it is very quick. It only takes around half an hour to complete the payroll. If I had to do that all by hand I would be all day. You don’t have to be an accountant. You just have to know your way around the books. Anyone can understand it. That’s what I like about it.

“I found the helpline to be fabulous. Once I lost all the data. I was upgrading and clicked the wrong icon. IRIS found the information I had lost straight away. They were brilliant. The problem was quickly resolved.

“I would not hesitate to recommend either product to anyone.”
