IRIS Software Group acquires Star as it continues to build international capabilities

IRIS Software Group is today announcing its acquisition of Star, a global provider of Practice Management software solutions for accounting firms.

It follows the acquisition of Star Payroll in 2018 and forms part of IRIS Software Group’s strategic plan to fuel international expansion in English speaking countries, predominantly in the United States. Star provides an opportunity to service the needs of accounting firms requiring practice management with a functionally rich and technically advanced solution focused on the needs of CPA firms.

Star provides functionally rich and technically advanced Practice Management software for CPA firms. It uses a flexible modular approach, allowing clients to structure modules to accurately reflect their own workflows. The core system offers time and expenses, billing, scheduling, due dates/workflow and CRM. All modules are integrated into a single database solution.
