IRIS Software Group awarded Payroll Assurance Scheme accreditation

IRIS Software Group (IRIS) has achieved the Payroll Assurance Scheme (PAS) accreditation for its Managed Payroll Service Team, which processes around 31,000 payslips each month.  

The much-coveted accreditation has been developed by the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) and HMRC, and validates IRIS’ dedication to compliance, robust business processes and continuous learning and development opportunities for its employees.   

Additionally, the award recognises the commitment to stay on top of ever-changing legislation and verifies the team’s delivery of best payroll practice.  

To achieve the accreditation, the team thoroughly assessed and identify any inadequate processes and risks to skills gaps, as well as evidence the resolutions against several modules.   

Over the last year, it has been vital payrolls are right first time, every time. Changes in furlough and job retention scheme alone has resulted in many payroll updates to ensure teams stay ahead of regulatory change. One in five UK employees are paid through IRIS payroll solutions.
