Problem
I've published my payslips but discovered an employees pay was wrong. How do I correct the payslip(s)?
Resolution
The OpenPayslips portal will only hold one payslip per period per employee.
If you re publish a payslip for the period it will automatically replace the old incorrect one.
If you do discover you have made a mistake before the employee receives the payment, correct the issue in payroll, re calculate and re publish the employee payslip. Don’t forget to resend any affected HMRC submissions (FPS, EPS).
If the mistake only comes to light after the employee has received the pay, technically the payslip isn’t incorrect. For help dealing with this situartion please read this KB:
