I've renewed my licence for PAYE-Master but it still tells me it's expired/expiring when I start the program.


Whenever you start PAYE-Master the software should retrieve your latest licence details from our update server. Occasionally there is a delay between licence updates or renewals being processed and the corresponding details being refreshed on the server. If you find that you can type in your licence details and they are accepted but the next time you start the software you are again reset to an older licence our support team will need to check what licence details are currently held on the server.

Please email your contract number and company name to with a request to check your licence. Alternatively, call us on 0344 815 5661

Updating licence details

Go to “Utilities” > “Edit Licence Details

This will open the registration wizard.

Work through the screens matching all the details EXACTLY as they appear on your renewal notice.

If your licence details are not accepted check again for typing mistakes. The company name needs to match the details on the licence certificate, including any and all punctuation, spaces or abbreviations. If you have typed something different, the generated “Customer Keycode” will be different, and your authorisation code will not be accepted. You also need to match the tick box options for “Pension” and “Bank“. If you have a “Bureau” licence make sure you tick the option and type in the correct number of companies in the box, as per your licence certificate.

If you still cannot get the details accepted, please email for help.

Click “Finish” at the end of the wizard.

Your expiry date will now be extended in line with your latest renewal.
