Problem

I recently updated my software but when I click on the option for a guide, eg. RTI Guide, I'm seeing the information for the old version of the program.

Resolution

All of the support guides are now stored on our website as part of our online document library. The problem is likely your web browser has cached the older version of the document and is loading this file from memory rather than connecting to the site for the latest copy.

You will need to clear your browser cache and open the guide again.

Clearing the cache data from Internet Explorer

Open the “Internet Options” window:

Click the “Delete….” button under “Browsing History

Untick all options except “Temporary Internet files and website files”

Click “Delete”. When you next click on the link for the document you want you will receive the latest version


Clearing the cache data from Chrome

Open the “Settings” window:

Click the “Clear browsing data…” button under “Privacy”

Untick all options except “Empty the cache”

Click “Clear browsing data”. When you next click on the link for the document you want you will receive the latest version.


Clearing the cache data from Firefox

From your home tab click “Settings”:

Open the “Advanced tab”

Click the “Clear Now” button under “Cached Web Content”

When you next click on the link for the document you want you will receive the latest version.
