Problem
When trying to save employee details user gets the message:
Resolution
This error is caused by the PC regional and language setting.
Commonly we see the short date format set to dd/MM/yy but can also be caused by using US format dates MM/dd/yyyy.
This is incorrect. For PAYE-Master to work correctly the short date format should be dd/MM/yyyy
These setting are made in “Control Panel” > “Regional and language setting”
Once the option for short date has been set to dd/MM/yyyy you may need to re boot your PC for the changes to be applied.
