Problem

User is getting the error message:

Socket Error #11001 Host not found

Resolution

This is due to the IRIS Software being PC based which may not link to a server based or webmail based email program directly.

If you are getting errors trying to export a backup from IRIS GP Accounts to your Accountant you could try taking a normal backup to your desktop and then attaching this to an email as a file attachment.
