Problem

User gets the errror:

DBISAM Engine Error 11013

Resolution

This is caused when a user doesn’t have “Full Permissions” or access to the location of the data file.

This normally needs to be resolved by your IT support:

You will need to open the GP Accounts Rescue package which can be found from “Start”> “Programs”> “GP Accounts”

You will need to click on “Alter the practice data path”.  This will tell you where the software is looking for the data.  If this is the wrong location you can change it on the screen.  If this is the right location you will need to make sure the user is connected to this location and that they have full permissions to the folder.
