Problem
When running the electronic tax return clients are receiving a warning message stating that box 3.46 has a negative value.
Resolution
This is not an issue within IRIS but is an issue with HMRC.
If there is a negative value in box 3.46 then you will not be able to file the return online and will have to send in a paper return.
You will also have to enclose an unable to file form which can be located: https://search2.hmrc.gov.uk/kb5/hmrc/forms/view.page?record=79CTz_jgEXA&formId=3298
