Problem
We have received the following from HMRC and this is in connection with Amendments that generate a Repayment Claim and Either Nominee or BACS details are changed.
Resolution
‘If a company makes an online amendment that generates a repayment and either nominee or BACS details are changed on the amendment, the company will need to attach a PDF explaining the nominee/BACS details have been changed.
Alternatively, the company can contact the local CT office and ask for a repayment inhibit to be made in order for the repayment to be processed properly.
*** If this isn’t done, the repayment will be sent using the details on the original return***
