Problem
The New button on the client browser is greyed out so this staff member can not add new clients and their associated employers or trades/partnership to the database in Personal Tax or P11D.
Resolution
This is controlled by the staff group permissions. Users are required to:
1. Log on to System Maintenance as a MASTER user.
2. From the Staff menu select Staff Maintenance.
3. Click the staff member’s login ID and click View, note the staff group listed at the bottom and click Close.
4. From the Staff menu select Group Permissions.
5. Select the relevant staff group and then select Basic Client Database.
7. Select the Full Access option then click OK.
