Problem
The client information needs to be extracted from Personal Tax to be sent to the IRIS support department or saved to a disk for storage.
Resolution

Users are required to:
1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select client.
2. From the Client menu, select Extract.
3. Select the folder location for the extract to be saved in, click OK.

The extract will be saved on the location selected. The filename will be the clients identification and the file extension .XFR e.g. SMITH01.XFR.

In order to email the extract, users are required to right-click on the file and choose ‘Send to | Mail recipient’.

This should open a new mail message with the file attached (this screen will not be displayed if you do not have access to email on your computer).
The email address for support is support@iris.co.uk.
Please include the name of the intended recipient.
Note that client files must be extracted on a client by client basis
