- Can I create a shortcut that allows me to post Timesheet entries only?
- Resolution
- Creating a shortcut to the timesheet entry application enables a user to access their timesheet only, without using up a Time and Fees licence screen. To create a shortcut to timesheet entry: Locate Your Current Programs Directory
- From the IRIS Main Menu, select Help | About and click on the Details tab
- Note the name of the directory next to the word Programs. For example S:IRIS
Create a Shortcut- Right-click on the desktop and select New | Shortcut
- Enter the name of the programs directory noted earlier, followed by iwintsht.exe. In this example, we’ll enter S:IRISiwintsht.exe as the programs directory is S:IRIS.
- Press the Next button.
- Enter “Timesheet entry” into the shortcut name box.
- Click Finish to create the shortcut.
- It is now possible to open timesheet entry by double-clicking on the shortcut from the desktop.
