When generating an Electronic Tax return the following validation shows: Actual length is greater than the maximum length invalid data entry company name element has invalid value
Resolution
This message indicates that the name of the company has too many characters that is including spaces therefore needs to shorten the name.
To solve the above message please do the following in Business Tax:
– Data Entry
– Company Information
– Select ‘Short name’
– OK
