IRIS AutoMail and Fees uses the interface of Microsoft Word to generate correspondence. To create your own Bespoke AutoMail/Fees templates you will require knowledge of Microsoft Word to the level of complexity that your bespoke template requires. The IRIS support team are not Microsoft Word experts and cannot provide support, advice or maintenance services with respect to Microsoft Word. However, we have provided some documentation to help you with some of the program features. This knowledgebase article will provide advice for basic font formatting in AutoMail
Resolution
It is possible to change the appearing of your text. This may include the font used, size of text, the font colour, whether the text is bold, italic and more. To apply some basic font formatting for Word 20072010:
  • Load Word 2007\2010
  • Click on the ‘home’ tab in the font section.
  • Click on the arrow in the large bottom right of the home section
  • The font screen will appear. Select your font settings. Please note these steps are only applicable to IRIS Accountancy Suite 11.8 and prior
