- The purpose of the 'Statement of Capital' is to provide full details of the company's issued share capital as at the date of the statement. The required information is: -the total number of shares of the company, -the aggregate nominal value of those shares, for each class of shares, -the amount paid up and the amount (if any) unpaid on each share (whether on account of the nominal value of the share or by way of premium) -the prescribed particulars of the rights

- The Statement of capital consists of: – Share Issue – Bonus Issue – Scrip Issue Details of the Share capital in pounds sterling can be found in Edit | Share Register | Events screen. IRIS calculates this information from the data entered within the Share Register. IRIS calculates the average i.e. total value of shares divided by total number of shares NOTE: Any premiums entered within the share register will also be reflected within the total .
