Problem
When using the software, an error occurs with error code 3265 - item not found in headers collection. This can happen when using FBI, opening a client, transferring forward or moving from one page to another in a return.
Resolution

This suggests one of the databases has not upgraded correctly through the installation. To resolve this error please do the following:

  1. Please close all users out of any PTP Platform programs
  2. Follow this link to the PTP website https://www.iris.co.uk/support/ptp-software-support/prerequisite-downloads/
  3. Click on Version Reset Tool | Save the file |Once saved right click and run it as administrator
  4. Tick Platform
  5. Select the current tax year from the drop down box
  6. Click Update Version

N.B. If the error occurred during the transfer forward process you may need to delete the new tax return for the first client(s) in the list as this return will not have created properly due to the error.
