Problem
Why has the data entry for Self Employment changed and how do these fields map to the printed Self Employment pages?
Resolution
The data entry for the Self Employment pages has changed as part of the work towards Making Tax Digital. When printing, the software will select Short or Full pages depending on the data entries made. However there is an option to force the Full pages if preferred. This option can be found on the Business Details tab.
Full Self Employment Pages mapping
Boxes 1-10 are on the Details section with the exception of box 5 which is on the Business Details tab
Boxes 11-14 are on the Business Details tab
Boxes 15-48 are on the Income and Expenses tab with the exception of box 16.1 for Income trading allowance which is on the Adjustments, Losses, Overlap and Tax tab
Boxes 49-59 are on the Capital allowances tab
Boxes 60-82 are on the Adjustments, Losses, Overlap and Tax tab
Boxes 83-99 are on the Balance Sheet tab
Boxes 100-101 are on the Business Details tab
Box 102 is on the Adjustments, Losses, Overlap and Tax tab
Box 103 is on the Additional Information tab
