Problem

When opening the Spanner Icon or running a Tax Calculation within PTP Tax Platform in a hosted environment, it takes a long time to open.

Resolution

This is most likely due to a buildup of redirected printers in the CurrentUser section of the registry for the affected user(s). The following registry keys will need to be reviewed and any duplicate or unnecessary printers removed.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Devices
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\PrinterPorts
