Residential Finance Costs Are Not Being Brought Froward From the Previous Year
Resolution
This is a DEFECT in the software in Version 20.3.0. This issue should be fixed in Version 21.1.0, which is due to be released in April 2021, (subject to change).
Please do the following to resolve your issue: –
- Go to Personal Tax for this client
- Go to the Income Tab
- Select UK Land and Property
- UK Property Allowance and Residential Finance Costs
- Residential Finance Costs
- Manually enter the brought forward figure
