IRIS Spring 2020 Service Pack Release v20.1.5

Overview

The IRIS Accountancy Suite Spring Service Pack release version 20.1.5 includes resolutions to a number of issues, some of which are listed below. It also includes some vital updates such as the Updated GB Group request form added to IRIS AML and changes to the Pre-Population feature from HMRC used in IRIS Personal Tax.

IRIS Accounts Production

For Accounts Production, 2 issues have been resolved prior to this service pack that were caused by the main Spring release.

Corporate Governance reporting headings appearing in the Directors Report for accounting periods commencing before 1st January 2019
When running a large company LTD set of accounts under FRS 102, within the report of the directors there are 3 headings with no narrative.
These are Engagement with employees, Engagement with suppliers, customers and others and Statement of corporate governance arrangements. These are required for accounting periods commencing 1st January 2019 but are currently appearing in error for accounting periods commencing prior to that date. A fix was deployed on 20th April 2020.

FRS 105 – Directors Report Exception
When producing an FRS 105 iXBRL report an exception is being given in error requesting a signature on the Directors Report. A fix was deployed on 15th April 2020.

IRIS Company Secretarial

Person of Significant Control (PSC) Register, nature of control
In the instance where two officers were appointed to the same company and both were designated a PSC, on generation of the PSC register report, the report was omitting the nature of control for the second individual. This issue has been resolved by this service pack.

Confirmation Statement Dates report
It was identified that the report in question was omitting the next Confirmation Statement due date. This issue has been resolved by this service pack.

IRIS Personal Tax

Unfortunately, HMRC are no longer continuing their trial of a new PAYE API for the pre-population of client data. Therefore, for anyone that was taking part in this trial, we have made changes in this update so that the product will automatically switch from the new trial API back to the original HMRC pre-population APIs for 2020 onwards.
