12 Days of IRIS Christmas: “On the 7th day of Christmas, my client’s profits saw a lift…

...thanks to forecasting from GearShift."

It's safe to say that Father Christmas has cornered the global-gift-delivery-on-Christmas-Eve (GGDOCE) market.

Or at least, that's what we thought...

A recent investigation of the GGDOCE industry by the Competition and Markets Authority found no evidence of monopolisation.

In fact, just when we thought 2016 couldn't get any crazier, St. Nick went and made the sensational revelation, under oath, that Pere Noel, Babbo Natale, Swiety Mikolaj and the rest are his competitors, not his aliases.

With that bombshell dropped, we immediately got on the phone to his accountant, Patrick, to ensure that he was doing everything he could to give Santa a competitive edge over his rivals using our new forecasting software, GearShift.

Discover Next Generation Forecasting from GearShift

So This Is GearShift...

In 2016, IRIS introduced GearShift: Next Generation Forecasting technology that enables accountants like Patrick to provide high-value advisory services using the insight locked away in client data.

GearShift gives Patrick the tools he needs to become a business adviser rather than just a number cruncher, working more closely with clients on the future direction of their businesses, playing an integral role in their success and providing valued advice whenever it's needed.

...What Reports Have You Done?

GearShift’s benefits include:

  • Next Generation Forecasting. As the most comprehensive forecasting tool on the market, GearShift provides lending-ready P&L and cash forecasts supported by graphical ‘what-if’ analysis, visualised via beautiful graphical reports that Patrick can produce for clients within minutes. This is especially handy for St. Nick, the vast majority of whom’s business is (obviously) done in December, as he can make more informed decisions in the lead-up to the festive period and beyond.
  • Practice differentiation. Within an increasingly competitive market, GearShift helps Patrick retain and win new clients by offering them unique insight and providing additional business advisory services. Patrick’s advice, based on data entered into GearShift, gives Claus Industries a critical edge over its competition at a time when they're looking to spread their wings and increase their catchment areas.
  • Closer client relationships. Patrick can use GearShift to help Claus Industries make smarter business decisions by predicting what lies ahead, creating solutions for potential problems before they arise and reporting on their impact. This builds a stronger professional bond between them, to the extent that Patrick could eventually adopt the role of Virtual Finance Director to the company.

The First Demo-ël

In a time of increasing digital dominance and compliance as a commodity, a shift to added-value services is fast becoming the norm, and GearShift can help to quicken and simplify this transition.

Why not find out what it could do for your practice and your clients?
