IRIS Keytime Accountants' Suite Spring Update 20.1.243
The Spring 2020 release Service Pack of Keytime Accountants’ Suite v20.1.243 is now available.
This service pack provides you with solutions to a number of issues reported since the last release. See further details below.

To check the version, open any Keytime module, select the Help menu and select About.
When syncing an incorporated charity record with the record at Companies House, a message was being returned that the entity types didn’t match.
Post April 2017 losses carried forward were not being included in the box ‘R&D Tax Credit’ in the ‘Losses Surrendered:’ section of the Losses, Deficits & Excess Amounts screen.
When offsetting in year UK Property losses and Non-trading losses on intangible fixed assets, a warning message was appearing stating that the figure cannot exceed the brought forward amount.
In the Capital Allowances calculator, after entering an asset addition and claiming AIA, the computation appeared to double the amount of AIA claimable.
Capital gains annual exemption was incorrectly set to £11,700. This has now been updated to £12,000 for the 2019/20 tax year.
When printing a hard copy declaration from the Submit screen, the declaration was making reference the 2018/19 tax year.
When attempting to retrieve data for the tax return from HMRC, the token granting the software authority to communicate with HMRC was not being retained. This resulted in the software prompting for authority each time the software was closed and reopened.
When attempting to set a location to save a PDF, the location was not being saved.
In the Submit screen, where there was a tick in ‘Print Hard Copy Declaration on Submission’ and a figure in box 38 of the self-employment pages, the submit screen was hanging and eventually gave an error.
Error 62 ‘input past end of file’ was appearing when attempting to print a partnership return. This was caused by an illegal character in the partnership name.
There was an issue with the data entry for Car and Car Fuel Benefit; the program was not allowing a date beyond 31 December 2019 to be entered when attempting to complete the field for Date car first registered on the Description tab.
