IRIS customers triumph at Accounting Excellence awards
There was success aplenty for IRIS customers at the Accounting Excellence 2019 awards.
Five customers were triumphant despite fierce competition from around 200 firms, who were all vying to win awards across 11 categories on the night.
The IRIS customer winners were:
- Medium firm of the year – Farnell Clarke
- New firm of the year – flinder
- Fast-track firm of the year – flinder
- Innovative firm of the year – flinder
- Investing in people award – Seymour Taylor
- Practice pioneer of the year – Daniel Crowther, Thorne Widgery
- Client service award – Green & Co
We’d like to offer our hearty congratulations to all of them for highly deserved victories. We know accountants put a huge amount of hard work into not only creating the award entries and compiling the necessary evidence to support it, but, more importantly, to nurturing and building their practices into the successful operations they have become.
Winning awards – or even getting shortlisted – carries with it many benefits. With an increasing number of awards to enter, it’s easy to question the value of entering, especially considering the time and effort required for some.
But ultimately, such accolades are a fantastic endorsement for your business. They can help build your firm’s reputation as a leading expert. When presenting to prospects, it’s an extra reason to say ‘you can trust me’. In a crowded marketplace, it’s another way to stand out from a rival practice, and potentially entice new clients who are weighing up which of you to choose.
It’s also brilliant for boosting your staff morale and attending the ceremony can be a great night out, making it an ideal event for team bonding – especially if you win.
There are many more opportunities for you to gain these benefits and get your name up in lights – not least the IRIS Customer Awards, which are coming up early next year.
We’d love to receive your entries. Watch out for more details of how you can enter soon.
