Problem
When entering a figure for R&D enhanced expenditure in box 660 no deduction flows through to the computation
Resolution
The deduction needs to be entered via the Adjustment to Profit screen
• Click the fanned pages icon next to question 155 to access the Adjustment to Profit screen
• Scroll down to the three blank lines (below Net CA’s)
• Click on the grey button with three dots to the right of the first available blank line
• Choose one of the categories relating to Qualifying R&D Expenditure
• Click on the grey button with three dots to the far right to enter a description and amount
